Our six Gites in Brittany, Gites Pennerest, nestle in the quiet rural hamlet of Pennerest, 7 km from Pontivy, in the central Morbihan region of Brittany and we can provide varied accommodations for up to 6 people.

We have a large solar heated swimming pool with a security wave alarm, a fenced-in children’s play area, a large recreation field and patio areas with BBQs making us a perfect location for a Gite family holiday in Brittany. We also have available mobile home accommodation in Pont Aven in southern Brittany, or why not have a two-centre holiday taking in central and southern Brittany?

There is plenty to do in the area around our Gites and to make this easier we have compiled information and many leaflets for you to decide what to do: beach, zoos, horse-riding, cycling, fishing or simply a relaxing holiday by the pool Brittany has a lot to offer and our Gites being in the centre of Brittany we are ideally situated for people wishing to explore the wonderful countryside and beautiful beaches which Brittany has to offer. We are open all year round, and with our out-of-season Gite prices and our central location you can easily explore the whole region of Brittany for the location and experience the real Brittany without the tourists

Gites Pennerest are to be found in the countryside with gorgeous views over the surrounding farmland, yet we are only 7km away from the beautiful, historic town of Pontivy with a variety of shops and restaurants and a busy Monday morning Market. The local village, Noyal Pontivy is 3km away and has 2 very good bakers, 2 supermarkets, a “pharmacie” and a variety of small shops.

Our Brittany Gites have been converted from old farm buildings – the farmhouse itself and the dairy and cowsheds – and therefore are all based on the same site. They open out onto shared BBQ/Eating areas with plenty of chairs and tables for “al fresco” dining. All our Gites have fully equipped kitchen areas complete with gas cookers, fridges and microwave ovens. We also provide laundry room (for which a small charge is made for the use of the washing machines) with iron, ironing boards  and two rotary clothes lines.

In addition this year we have added a small reception area with a range of drinks, Ice creams, sweets chocolate and milk available. Also available each morning, on request are freshly baked croissants and Pain au Chocolate. In the shop area, you will find various maps of the local area and leaflets of what to do and see. As we live on site, with the Gites we are nearly always on hand to offer advice on what and where to go in Brittany, and are able to print off maps and directions for you. We also have a small, but extensive selection of books in our small library.

There are no televisions in the Gites, mainly due to the requests of our previous customers, but there is a television up by the reception area for major sporting events, that are on FTV television.

We hope we have provided everything you may require for your family’s Gite holiday in Brittany, but if we have overlooked anything, being on site ourselves just ask and we will do our best to oblige.
